On Sunday morning, 7 September 2025, Warsaw’s Breakfast Market in Mokotów was transformed into a vibrant corner of Southeast Asia.
For the second year in a row, the Royal Thai Embassy in Poland invited Warsaw residents to take part in ‘Good Morning, Thailand!’ 2025 – an event that offered a rich taste of the Land of Smiles, from its cuisine and culture to martial arts and music.
Starting at 9 a.m., visitors were welcomed by the irresistible aromas of Thai street food – curry, pad thai, mango sticky rice, and coconut milk tea. Local restaurants and chefs from Thailand served dishes prepared according to traditional recipes, with every bite transporting guests straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok or the serene beaches of Krabi.
The stage came alive with performances of both traditional and modern Thai dance, showcasing the elegance of historical costumes alongside fresh cultural interpretations. Live music, played on traditional Thai instruments, created a captivating atmosphere that drew in families, tourists, and Asia enthusiasts alike.
A highlight of the event was the Muay Thai zone, where fighters and trainers demonstrated this powerful national martial art. Attendees could even try it themselves under professional guidance – it was dynamic, energetic, and thrilling. Nearby, a relaxation zone offered traditional Thai massages, providing a welcome interlude amid the excitement.
