Egyptian National Day celebrated in Warsaw

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Egypt’s National Day, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Warsaw hosted a ceremonial gathering that served not only as a celebration of the national holiday but also as a moment for thoughtful reflection on Egyptian-Polish relations and today’s global challenges.

July 23 is more than just a date on our calendar – it marks a turning point that changed the course of Egypt’s history – said His Excellency Ahmed ElAnsary, Ambassador of Egypt to Poland, as he opened his speech at the Embassy. The event drew a distinguished audience, including Marcin Bosacki, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of parliament, diplomats, and representatives of the Egyptian community in Poland.
The revolution of 23 July 1952 revolution ushered in a new era in Egypt’s history, sparking major domestic transformations and inspiring movements across the region and beyond. Ambassador ElAnsary remarked: Learning from the past is essential to actively shaping the future.
