We long for peace and quiet which, on the one hand, are a natural human need and, on the other, have become a luxury we can afford less and less often. Yet there is a place in Poland where this luxury comes as standard. It is the Podlaskie Voivodeship, where people, nature and tradition come together to create a unique mosaic, and where slow living is a way of life. If you happen to be in Drohiczyn on the first weekend of August, you can try your hand at taking part in the event (advance registration is essential, as all available kayaks are often booked several days before the event).
