Gathering around the table is considered a cherished tradition, especially during special occasions and family celebrations. Traditional Kuwaiti hospitality is also closely connected to the serving of Arabic coffee and dates, which represent respect and a welcoming spirit toward guests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the most beloved traditional dishes is Machboos, a flavorful rice dish prepared with aromatic spices and usually served with meat or chicken. Harees and Jareesh are also famous traditional dishes, appreciated for their comforting taste and authentic homemade flavors. Mutabbaq (Zubaidi), one of Kuwait\u2019s treasured seafood dishes, reflects the country\u2019s historical connection to the sea and its rich culinary traditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kuwaiti cuisine includes a wide variety of dishes and flavors; however, today we will highlight a selection of traditional favorites, including Machboos Laham (meat), Kuwaiti Salad, and Jareesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For dessert, traditional sweets will include Girs Aqili cake flavored with saffron, Luqaimat, and Elba.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, Kuwaiti cuisine is distinguished by its use of fresh ingredients, carefully balanced spices, and recipes that preserve the authenticity of traditional cooking while continuing to evolve with elegant modern presentation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In every dish, Kuwaiti cuisine tells a story of heritage, generosity, and tradition. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for approximately 1 hour, or until the Lamb is tender and infused with aroma.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Strain the stock<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once cooked, strain the mixture. Separate the Lamb from the spiced broth and set both aside. Discard the whole spices and reserve the flavorful stock.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Cook the rice<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add the soaked basmati rice to the reserved Lamb stock. Adjust the liquid carefully to ensure proper absorption. Cook until the rice is approximately 80% done.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Add saffron<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Soak the saffron strands in hot water. Stir part of the saffron infusion into the rice and continue cooking gently until the rice is fully cooked and fragrant.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Finish the lamb<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brush the cooked meat with the remaining saffron water and bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes to enhance color, aroma, and depth of flavor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2e3b<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sweet Onion, Nut &amp; Raisin Garnish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thinly slice onions and fry until golden and caramelized. In a separate pan, gently cook nuts and raisins in water with a touch of sugar until softened and glossy.
