He emphasised that the 65th National Day, marking Kuwait\u2019s independence in 1961, and the 35th anniversary of the country\u2019s liberation in 1991, stand as enduring symbols of unity and resilience for the Kuwaiti people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 <em>These two milestone events are not merely dates on a calendar, but living symbols of our resilience, unity and steadfast belief in a future founded on dignity and solidarity<\/em> \u2013 stated His Excellency Saad Abdulaziz Almehaini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His Excellency also devoted considerable attention to the historical foundations of Kuwaiti national identity. He recalled that prior to the discovery of oil, Kuwait was a nation of sailors and merchants \u2013 outward-looking and open to the world and to diverse cultures. He underlined that these formative experiences shaped a spirit of tolerance and dialogue that continues to characterise the State of Kuwait to this day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turning to contemporary challenges and national aspirations, the Ambassador highlighted the country\u2019s long-term development strategy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 <em>Vision New Kuwait 2035 is not simply a plan on paper, but a comprehensive transformation designed to position our country as a leading financial, commercial and cultural hub in the region<\/em> \u2013 he noted. He identified investment in infrastructure, digital transformation, renewable energy and human capital development as the principal pillars underpinning a modern and forward-looking Kuwait.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A significant portion of the address was devoted to relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Poland, which were formally established in 1963. His Excellency Saad Abdulaziz Almehaini underlined that bilateral cooperation has developed steadily over the decades \u2013 encompassing political dialogue and diplomatic engagement, as well as trade, education and cultural exchange. He also expressed sincere appreciation for Poland\u2019s participation in the Coalition Forces during Kuwait\u2019s liberation in 1991, describing it as a gesture that \u201chas become permanently inscribed in our national memory\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His Excellency further observed that relations between Kuwait and Poland are founded upon mutual respect, trust and a shared vision for the future. He emphasised that Kuwait perceives considerable potential for enhanced cooperation in such areas as energy, emerging technologies, green transformation and infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ambassador also highlighted that, drawing upon the unique harmony of sea and desert, Kuwait is opening a new chapter that showcases its natural beauty, cultural depth and enduring tradition of hospitality. He extended an invitation to discover Kuwait \u2013 <em>a place where the tranquillity of the desert meets the vastness of the sea, and where historic souqs coexist with a vibrant contemporary art scene<\/em>. To this end, a dedicated platform, <strong>Visit Kuwait<\/strong>, has been established to assist visitors in exploring the country\u2019s landscapes, experiencing its traditions and engaging with Kuwaiti society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Mr Wojciech Zaj\u0105czkowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
