The screening was opened by His Excellency Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland, who delivered an inspiring introductory address, underscoring the importance of dialogue, empathy, and the state\u2019s responsibility towards its citizens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Directed by Dilmurod Masaidov, the film tackles a harrowing and still highly relevant subject: the return of Uzbek women and children from extremist camps in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The story is based on the real-life experiences of participants in the humanitarian mission \u201cMehr\u201d, conducted by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the direct instruction of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The mission has come to symbolise Uzbekistan\u2019s new approach to reintegration, responsibility, and humanitarian outreach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the heart of the film is the character Sojida, inspired by the true story of a woman from Andijan. Her journey reveals the tragedy faced by an ordinary family swept into the vortex of violence and extremism.
