On 2 December, on the occasion of Albania\u2019s Independence Day and National Day of the Republic of Albania, the Ambassador of Albania, H.E. Mimoza Halimi, invited numerous distinguished guests to a ceremonial reception. It was a unique opportunity to highlight the close relations between our two nations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The host of the event, H.E. Mimoza Halimi, warmly and ceremoniously welcomed the guests, emphasising the significance of Albania\u2019s Independence Day and the importance of Albanian\u2013Polish relations in a changing European context.<\/p>\n

In her speech, H.E. the Ambassador highlighted the ground-breaking nature of 2025 for Albania, particularly with regard to European integration. She noted that the opening of all negotiation chapters with the European Union is the result of years of reforms and broad social consensus.<\/p>\n

\u2013 This unprecedented pace reflects not only Albania\u2019s unwavering commitment to European integration \u2013 supported by 92% of Albanian citizens \u2013 but also a strong shared belief that Europe views enlargement as a strategic investment in peace, stability, and cohesion on our continent<\/em> \u2013 she emphasised.<\/p>\n

\nThe Ambassador also expressed her gratitude to Poland for its consistent support of Albania\u2019s European aspirations and for its contribution to security in the Western Balkans, including the presence of Polish contingents in the KFOR mission in Kosovo and EUFOR Althea in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a world marked by tensions and uncertainties, Albania and Poland remain united around shared values: peace, solidarity, and international cooperation.<\/p>\n
