Interview with H.E. Abdulla A. Rahman Fakhroo, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Poland<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

When did you present your credentials as the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Poland?<\/span><\/strong>
\nFirst of all, I\u2019d like to welcome you to our embassy. This is my first interview with a Polish magazine, which is well-known in diplomatic circles and among politicians. It\u2019s a pleasure to be featured here.<\/span><\/p>\n

I officially presented my credentials to His Excellency Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, at the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw on Monday, 1st July 2024. However, I would like to share an interesting story about how it all unfolded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just one week before I was due to present my credentials, President Duda visited Doha on an official trip. It was a great honour to meet him and his delegation there. During the visit, the Emir\u2019s staff introduced me as the new Ambassador to Poland. I had the opportunity to speak with a representative from President Duda\u2019s office, and from there, everything moved swiftly. I arrived in Poland on July 1st, and just a few days later, on July 4th, the Emir himself visited Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon my arrival, I found the Polish presidential staff to be incredibly welcoming and open. They even scheduled my appointment before the Emir\u2019s visit, which was a pleasant surprise given how quickly everything progressed. When the Emir remarked on how fast the process was, I simply responded, \u201cThis is the will of God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
