The Future of Business Travel and Polish-Indian Economic Cooperation – Between Warsaw and New Delhi

How do you see the future of the business travel industry in Central Europe, considering the dynamic changes in the economy and the post-pandemic reality?

In my opinion, the future of business travel in Central Europe will depend on several key factors: post-pandemic recovery, the digitalization of business processes, and the growing demand for sustainable development. These elements will have the greatest impact on the planning and implementation of business trips in the near future.

After the period of pandemic-related restrictions ends, companies will once again recognize the value of face-to-face meetings, especially for building business relationships and conducting negotiations. In my opinion, companies will be more selective when planning trips and will use videoconferencing and hybrid work models. Due to inflation and economic instability, organizations will seek more effective travel management models and develop tools to optimize expenses. There will also be an increased focus on ecological solutions, such as choosing trains over planes or offsetting CO₂ emissions.

The future of the business travel industry in the region depends on the ability to adapt flexibly to new realities. Companies that implement smart technologies and focus on efficiency and sustainable development will gain a competitive advantage.
