Can archaeological discoveries have an impact on modern diplomacy? Will the history recorded in ancient walls open up new avenues for the study of European heritage?
These were some of the questions that participants in an international conference held at the Bulgarian Embassy in Warsaw on 26-27 November sought to answer.
The meeting, which summarised 65 years of the Bulgarian-Polish archaeological expedition to Novae, was held under the patronage of H.E. Margarita Gaeneva, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Poland, and was attended by scientists from research institutes and universities in both countries who took part in the excavations at Novae.
