National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

2024-11-05

I am delighted that we can gather today to celebrate this special occasion. It gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone on the 94th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commemorating the momentous day on 23rd September 1932, when King Abdul-Aziz bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Saud united the Kingdom. With these words, His Excellency Saad Saleh Ibrahim Alsaleh, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, greeted guests at a reception held in Warsaw on 23rd September.

The ceremony began with the national anthems of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Poland. After welcoming the attendees, His Excellency the Ambassador outlined his country’s development plans, stating:

Today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing a glorious era of blessed development under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz.

Since its launch in 2016, Saudi Vision 2030 has marked the beginning of a new phase of development, focused on future progress for the benefit of the Kingdom and its people, while upholding our religious principles, traditions, and noble values. Vision 2030 is now halfway through its journey, having achieved most of its goals, which makes us even more ambitious to surpass these targets.
