Kuwait’s National Day

On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of National Day, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Poland held a reception on 21 February. This year, Kuwait is also celebrating the 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day.

The reception opened with a speech by H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Khalid Yateem AlFadhli, who welcomed the many guests who had attended the ceremony.

H.E. the Ambassador recalled that last year marked the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Poland. He also stressed that the Embassy of the State of Kuwait is continuously continuing to work on developing relations, cooperation and partnership with Poland.

An excellent example of enhancing cooperation between the two countries was a one million dollar donation by the Council of Ministers of the State of Kuwait to the friendly nation of Ukraine in September 2023 to enable them to purchase 40 power generators. H.E. the Ambassador had the honour to participate in the donation ceremony in the city of Przeworsk with the participation of representatives of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, the Polish Red Cross and a representative of the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw.
