2025-07-23

Joyful and orange – that was how King’s Day was celebrated on April 24th at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Warsaw. Among the guests were representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Polish authorities, the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Antonio Guido Filipazzi, and many friends of this remarkable country.

I am delighted that we can celebrate together this most important day for the Netherlands, which commemorates the birthday of King William-Alexander – said H.E. Ambassador Jennes de Mol in his official welcome. – For us, it is always an opportunity to highlight the character of our country, which prides itself on its openness, its good cooperation with other countries and, of course, its commitment to the use of modern green technologies. Today, we also underline our commitment to Ukraine, which we have served and will continue to serve – H.E. the Ambassador stressed.

Today’s meeting is an excellent opportunity to thank both the Netherlands and also the Ambassador for the help and friendship they have shown and continue to show to my country – said H.E. the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland, Vasily Bodnar, presenting a medal for services to Ukraine to Jennes de Mol on behalf of President Zelensky.
