On 9th October, 2023, the Warsaw Stock Exchange hosted the community of the Polish startup ecosystem. The event was a bridge connecting startups with the stock exchange world. On this day, representatives of leading organisations, investors, sector leaders and startups created a unique ecosystem for the exchange of knowledge, experience and capital.
The meeting was devoted to the challenges and opportunities facing Polish startups. At the same time, it was an opportunity to present original and innovative products and services offered by startups. The main message of the GPW Venture Network Day conference was that Poland has adequate potential to join the group of startup nations, i.e. countries with a dynamic and constantly developing ecosystem of innovative technology companies.
The event emphasised the synergy between the dynamic stock exchange ecosystem and ambitious startupers. On this day at the WSE, ideas met capital, knowledge met innovations, and the possibility of partnership became a reality.
Participants could discover the potential of cooperation in the startup ecosystem, learn about innovative solutions and projects, establish valuable business contacts, support the development of the most innovative projects and increase their chances for effective investments and the willingness to jointly shape projects of international reach and importance.

A stage where startups had the opportunity to present their projects directly to renowned investors from Poland in order to find financing, and investors could take a look at exciting innovations from various fields.
- Reverse Pitch Studio
Key companies listed on the WSE were invited to participate in this studio to present their proposals and offers for startups.
- Discovery Studio
Here, in turn, you could immerse yourself deeply in the trends that define the world of innovation. The latest trends were presented by industry leaders. Thanks to this, it was possible to learn about current research and analyses and discover what technologies will dominate in the coming years.
- Networking Area
This place was used to establish direct contacts with innovators, entrepreneurs and investors, as well as to discover new opportunities for cooperation, exchange experiences and build relationships in the dynamic environment of the Polish startup ecosystem.
Many startups presented their ideas on the PITCH stage. The range of technological projects was very wide, from medicine to foodtech, automotive to modern tattoos.

EPI-CAN
A startup that, as a result of many years of research in the field of oncology therapy, is one of the first to offer personalized therapy, which is selected specifically for a given patient thanks to diagnostics based on a blood sample (blood drop test) using an application. This approach to therapy is definitely more effective than current treatment methods, and also shortens the treatment time and reduces the costs of therapy. The startup is currently seeking financing for clinical trials.
Leadholo
A startup that introduces recipients to the innovative world of holograms. This is a revolution in visual communication. 3D holograms stimulate the imagination and offer the best image quality.
ledholo.one 3D holograms impress with their image quality, realistic holographic effect and aesthetics of workmanship. For their production, the company used the latest generation of single emission units with a diameter of 30 to 180 cm, characterized by the highest image display parameters.
PhiLabs S.A.
Thanks to modern solutions, the startup helps the entire family lead a healthy lifestyle. Modern solutions protect family members against lifestyle diseases. The company has introduced a parenting service about the proper psychophysical development of children. The company’s flagship product is PHIBOX Care – an innovative device that motivates the child to exercise at home. By participating in physiotherapy video games, the child performs sets of movement exercises given by the physiotherapist. Through a convenient web application, the physiotherapist can have access to both the therapy planning module and tracking its progress, and the built-in AI module analyses exercise parameters.
Magly
The startup offers innovative hotel attractions created for children in the form of an off-road, story-based, interactive and educational game that creates strong emotional bonds with the recipients.
Young players, using an innovative controller that recognises movements, interact with various objects scattered around the facility. Dedicated accessories integrated with the hotel infrastructure enable a new type of experience in which game participants are the main characters themselves, pushing the boundaries of existing VR and AR gaming possibilities because the action takes place in real time and in the real world – without the use of mobile devices or VR glasses. The game’s plot is fully adapted to the character of the facility. The above solutions are already available in several hotels in Poland.
My EGGO
The startup behind the Puławy Technology Park did a great job of finding a plant-based substitute for chicken eggs in liquid form. This substitute is a product based on hemp seeds. Research conducted by the startup shows that in Poland there are 1.3 million vegans and 2.2 million vegetarians, which is why the demand for this product will continue to grow. Other hemp-based products developed by the startup include egg paste, pancakes and omelettes.
Riffsec
Riffsec offers solutions for detecting and responding to cyber threats. This is a tool that detects attacks on brands at record speed, before the attack actually begins. Bots travel hundreds of times along designated routes on the Internet, looking for threats. Moreover, the solution has the widest attack database and attack archive in Poland.
Telemedical Innovation – Cardiovice
Accelerator Gliwice is behind this startup. This is an innovative Cardiovice telemedicine system that enables remote monitoring of the patient’s health from anywhere in the world. The patient can independently perform 12 lead ECG tests using an innovative vest.
The Cardiovice ECG Recorder, combined with a dedicated mobile application and cloud platform, creates a tool that allows you to perform ECG tests via mobile devices, i.e. smartphones or tablets. Thanks to this solution, the patient measures the heart rate at home, rather than in a hospital setting. This device has a Polish patent for production, sales and market entry.
Autonomy Now
The Krakow Technology Park is behind this startup. The startup has developed modern systems for vehicles – warning systems for drivers that increase road safety. They are equipped with algorithms enabling intelligent observation of the vehicle’s surroundings, based on neural networks and data from radars and cameras.
Modern systems ensure, among others: features for pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, drowsiness warning and driver attention. Buses with these solutions are already being used in some European cities.
Delivery Complete company
The Mosty Foundation is behind this company. The company has developed robots that replace couriers, e.g. in the home delivery of pizza. These robots have a built-in heating system to keep the delivered food warm. This solution allows you to eliminate or limit deliveries made by couriers, which significantly reduces exhaust emissions into the air. Moreover, thanks to the introduction of robots, restaurants experience an increase in revenues by 30-40%. This solution has already been used in cities with approximately 100,000 inhabitants.
Attendance at the WSE was good that day. There were many topics for discussion, from new ideas that are just emerging, to technological projects that are already at an advanced stage, as well as issues of securing financing and commercialization.
