To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Poland, the Mongolian National Day (Naadam) and the celebration of the Mongolian Armed Forces Day, HE Oyundari Navaan-Yunden, the Mongolian Ambassador to Poland, invited guests to a reception on 6 June.
The ceremony began with the listening of the national anthems of Mongolia and Poland being played by an artist on a traditional Mongolian musical instrument called a morin khuur.
Then, H.E. Oyundari Navaan-Yunden, the Mongolian Ambassador, took the floor and said:
– Mongolia’s decision to establish diplomatic relations with Poland and other European countries has opened a new chapter in building equitable relations beyond our two immediate neighbours. Poland has played a significant role in Mongolia’s development, contributing to various construction, geological and infrastructure projects.
The Ambassador also mentioned that, in 2023, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, had paid a state visit to Mongolia, becoming the first European head of state to visit the country immediately after the pandemic. This visit was a strong signal of Poland’s commitment to strengthening ties with Mongolia, particularly during the period of global recovery and renewal.
