On 24 June, the conference “Women Diplomats: The Power of Women’s Voices” was held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Warsaw. The event aimed to highlight the importance of women’s perspectives in diplomacy, foreign policy, and the broader development of the state. The conference opened with a video prepared by Ambassador Beata Stoczyńska, followed by welcoming remarks from the Consul, who emphasised the value of diversity, the importance of strengthening women’s representation in public life, and shared reflections from her own professional career.

The first item on the agenda was the panel discussion “Diplomacy and Politics Through Women’s Eyes – Experience, Influence, and Leadership,” featuring Agnieszka Homańska, Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, and Eline Goovaerts. The discussion focused on women’s roles in diplomacy, exploring their experiences, challenges, and growing presence within international institutions. The panelists highlighted the importance of soft skills, resilience, networking, and the need to increase the representation of women in decision-making positions.

Following the panel discussion, participants took part in an interactive workshop led by Aleksandra Więcka, dedicated to the art of storytelling and the methodology of creating engaging narratives. The workshop demonstrated how to consciously craft compelling stories for both public communication and professional settings, and how storytelling can be used as a powerful tool for influence, persuasion, and building an authentic personal brand.
The conference concluded with the panel “Towards Visibility: WomenStrengthening Polish Business on the International Stage,” featuring Agnieszka Szweda, Magdalena Szuber, Julia Stachowicz, and Ewa Kumorek‑Fedor. The speakers, representing diverse sectors—from public administration to private investment – consistently emphasised that Poland is rapidly gaining recognition and attracting the attention of international partners. Drawing on personal stories and distinct institutional perspectives, they demonstrated how cross‑sector cooperation enhances the country’s position globally and creates space for further development.

The “Women Diplomats: The Power of Women’s Voices” conference became a platform for exchanging experiences, inspiration, and practical knowledge, bringing together diplomats, experts, leaders, and individuals committed toPoland’s development. The event demonstrated how essential women’s voices are in shaping the future, fostering dialogue, and building a modern, open, and inclusive approach to diplomacy.
