For fifty years, the Diplomatic Club of Geneva has stood at the crossroads of history in one of the world’s capitals of diplomacy.
Its story began in 1976, when a group of diplomats recognised that Geneva needed a place where representatives of the international community could meet beyond the constraints of official protocol to network and exchange ideas and experiences.
Over the decades, the Club evolved from a small circle into an agora for International Geneva. Today, supported by the Swiss and Geneva authorities as well as the United Nations Office at Geneva, it brings together some 1,000 members, including ambassadors, heads of international organizations, and representatives from government, academia, business and civil society.
