The Polish-Tunisian Business Forum was organised jointly by the Embassy of Tunisia in Warsaw and PAIH. Held on 20 May in Warsaw at the Information Centre of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, it served as an important signal of the growing importance of economic cooperation between Poland and Tunisia.
The event brought together representatives of public administration, financial institutions, export-support organisations, experts, and entrepreneurs keen to develop trade and investment relations between the two countries. The Tunisian side was represented by a delegation led by H.E. Taoufik Chebbi, Ambassador of Tunisia to Poland. The delegation also included representatives of key institutions responsible for economic development and investment promotion, among them: Mourad Belhassen, Director General for Economic and Cultural Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad; Houda Ammar Sellami of the Export Promotion Centre; Saida Kahouli of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency; Anissa Lakhoua Chahed of the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation; Tarek Haj Salah of the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency; and Saber Khomsi, Foreign Affairs Counsellor at the Embassy of Tunisia. The presence of such senior figures from both states underlined the strategic nature of the developing economic relationship. The Forum proved to be not only a venue for official addresses, but above all a platform for genuine business dialogue and the exchange of experience between Polish and Tunisian entrepreneurs.
