On Thursday evening, October 3rd, the 10th anniversary edition of the French Touch La Belle Vie! Gala, a unique event promoting French culture, cinema, art and business as well as cooperation between Poland and France, took place in the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw. During the gala, the great French actor Alain Delon was honoured and a number of stars from both countries appeared on stage, symbolically uniting the two nations in the spirit of friendship and cooperation.
Paris: the city of love and art
The gala was opened by H.E. the French Ambassador to Poland, Etienne de Poncins. The theatre was transformed into an artistic space where lights, images and sounds paid tribute to the romantic corners of Paris. The first performance was by the dance troupe La Compagnie d’Pendance, who danced to the iconic song “I love Paris” in a unique choreography. In the back-ground, images of the streets of Paris changed, creating a magical atmosphere that transported the audience to the French capital of love.
